Office Closing

I have some important news to share! At the end of September, I will be closing my massage practice.

What?! But why?

I haven’t mentioned it on this blog yet, but I’m currently in grad school, getting my master’s degree in public policy. Since last fall, I’ve been taking classes in addition to working. This means that after I close my practice, I’ll finish my last four classes and then write a thesis.

And then? Onto something new! Maybe I’ll try to fix our national healthcare system; maybe I’ll shift gears to work on something completely different. So many possibilities!

I’ve been working as an LMT for seven years, and I feel really good about my time in the profession. I’ve met some wonderful people and I’ve been able to help so many of them manage or relieve their pain. Some of my clients have been with me since the very beginning of my practice.

Change can be difficult, and I’m not looking forward to saying goodbye to so many people. But I know that it’s time, and I’m really excited to start this new chapter of my life.

If you haven’t been in for a massage in a while, or if you’ve always wanted to come in but never got a chance, or if you’re just finding out about me today, you should schedule an appointment with me while you still can!
